Tasty Delight
Ben and Jerry's often release ice cream flavors themed around certain people, including Jerry Garcia and the band Phish. The latest is Stephen Colbert's flavor which sounds truly delicious.
For those who don't know, Stephen Colbert is the host of The Colbert Report, a satirical and reality-bending parody of right-wing talk shows that are pretty popular in a good deal of America. In reality, his show cleverly skewers both the politics and the aggressive style of these talk shows and their hosts - by playing an aggressive, uber-patriotic, and self-aggrandizing right-wing host himself.
So much so that I have met a few conservative people who really think Mr. Colbert and his show are Republican/right wing. I tried to explain that the show is subversive and actually fairly liberal or at least centrist, but they don't believe me!
But I digress. We were talking about how delicious ice cream is.
